Urban Makers was founded in Bow, East London, by two designer friends Ilka Dickens and Julia Redgrove. Since 2015 they have been hosting makers markets, pop-up shops and small business workshops in London. They started their guest market residency at Old Spitalfields Market in 2018. 

We believe in nurturing creative people with unique businesses, dreams and ideas. Every time you buy from us, at our markets or online, you can be rest assured that you are supporting an independent small business which in turn helps our economy where it needs it most.

They now have a permanent shop at 347 Roman Road E3 5QR - showcasing unique handmade products
