The Shark Garden is part of the New Start Community Garden, a nonprofit teaching garden in Burien, Washington. We offer free classes in organic gardening, cooking, art, and environmental science. We have 76 rental p-patch plots, a half acre food bank garden that grows food for the White Center Food Bank, and an extensive botanical garden that focuses on edible landscaping, drought tolerant plants, and gardening for wildlife and pollinators.
