SGP Foundation was formed in 2016 as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit educational organization. It provides education and awareness on the best practices associated with sustainability in the printing industry, including printers, suppliers and customers/retailers/print buyers. Foundation activities help to support the printing industry in implementing more sustainable business practices and certification by the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP).

Goal & Objectives

SGP Foundation’s goal is to encourage printers to be part of a more sustainable supply chain. It is the catalyst for innovation in the sustainability for the printing industry and businesses in general through information exchange and collaboration.

To achieve this goal, SGP Foundation’s objectives include:

1. Promote sustainable & technological innovation
2. Advocacy for sustainable supply chain
3. Forum for sustainability discussions
4. Educate the public on print sustainability
