Payson Senior Center
The Payson Senior Center (PSC) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation founded in 1985. PSC is a community-based organization that relies on a small staff and many volunteers to serve Payson and the immediate surrounding area. We provide an environment of hope and love, with nutrition, physical activity, and entertainment for those 50 and finer!
Our mission is to assist individuals aged 50 and older in the Payson area in achieving and maintaining self-sufficiency with dignity and to offer choices of appropriate care by providing a wide range of community and home-based services.
PSC provides nutritious meals through the meals on wheels program, daily congregate meals at the Center, local transportation for seniors and disabled adults and offers a wide variety of social, recreational, information, self-help, exercise fitness and independent living programs. Although PSC receives funding from many sources, such as CAA, Town of Payson, Town of Star Valley, Gila County and ADOT, none of our programs are fully funded. We rely on private and corporate donations, fundraisers and grants to continue the crucial programs we provide. While our programs are available to all seniors, regardless of income, the majority of seniors that we serve are low-income residents of Arizona.
