Nashville Metro Parks' Visual Arts (MPVA) Program offers affordable and accessible art classes. MPVA has recently increased the scope of its program to offer a wider variety of art classes in its three locations (Centennial Art Center, Bellevue Community Center and Old Hickory Community Center). Mini-courses (4-6 weeks) and workshops (1-4 days) provide shorter term opportunities as well as focused learning and additional art forms, such as Shibori indigo dyeing and sculpture, not available in their regular 8-week schedule.
