Hi, I’m Ladislav (Lad for short). I grew up in Slovakia, where mushroom picking is part of everyday life and culture. My childhood fascination with fungi grew into a lifelong passion, and I am able to use it as part of my work - teaching foraging, mushroom cultivation and mycelium materials.

On my guided walks, I’ll introduce you to the incredible world of fungi and wild foods. Together we’ll explore diverse habitats, learn to confidently identify edible and medicinal species, discover how to process and cook your finds, and enjoy the beauty of the woodland. My walks are friendly, inclusive, and perfect for beginners or anyone curious about wild food.
