Dr. Jennifer Griswold is an Asst. Professor in the Atmospheric Sciences Depatment at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has BS degrees in Meteorology and Environmental Science and a PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences. Dr. Griswold worked for NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab before starting her faculty position at UH Manoa.  Dr. Griswold's interest in education and outreach and mentoring when she was just an undergrdaute student. Since then she has made it a goal in her life and work to provide opportunites for young women to experience the exciting world that in science, math and technology.  She had the benefit of great mentors and opportunities and Expanding Your Horizons is one way to bring similar opportunities to the young women of Hawaii.
