At the Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, our continuing education program is dedicated to disseminating research and clinical knowledge to mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers. We strive to improve clinical competencies, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. We also aim to bridge the gap between clinical research and clinical practice. Our department strongly values evidence-based interventions and adheres to best practice standards. As such, we thoughtfully plan programming content and strive to effectively communicate high quality educational learning to all attendees.
