The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers.

The Georgia Chapter has 800 practitioner members, 350 Industry Partners, and student members in 12 schools. Of the chapter's practicing interior designers, 32.5% practice primarily in the commercial field, 20% practice in the residential field, and the remaining 47.5% practice in both fields.

ASID Industry Partners include member firms and individual representatives uniting the professional designer with manufacturers and distributors of design-related products plus providers of design-related services.
