Amgueddfa Wrecsam / Wrexham Museum

Wedi’i leoli yn un o adeiladau tirnod Wrecsam ar Stryt y Rhaglaw, mae Gwasanaeth Treftadaeth ac Archifau Wrecsam yn gyfrifol am amgueddfeydd ac archifau’r fwrdeistref sirol.

Amgueddfa ac Archifau Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yw’r man cychwyn ar gyfer darganfod hanes cyffrous y rhanbarth hwn ar y ffin rhwng Cymru a Lloegr.

Mae arddangosfeydd a chasgliadau’r Amgueddfa yn adrodd straeon ein cymunedau lleol a’u lle yng Nghymru a’r byd ehangach o’r cyfnod cynhanes hyd at heddiw.

Yr Archifau yw’r lle i ymchwilio i hanes eich teulu, eich cartref, eich cymdogaeth a hanes eich cyndeidiau.

Mae Gwasanaeth Treftadaeth ac Archifau Wrecsam, gyda chymorth gwirfoddolwyr a sefydliadau partner, hefyd yn gyfrifol am Benwisgoedd Glofa’r Bers, Gwaith Haearn y Bers, Castell Holt, Pyllau Plwm y Mwynglawdd a Pheiriandy Penrhos.

Based at one of Wrexham’s landmark buildings on Regent Street, Wrexham Heritage & Archives Service is responsible for the county borough’s museums and archives.

Wrexham County Borough Museum & Archives is the starting point for discovering the eventful history of this region on the Welsh-English border.

The Museum’s displays and collections tell the stories of our local communities and their place in Wales and the wider world from prehistory up to the present day.

The Archives are the place to research the history of your family, your home, your neighbourhood and those of your ancestors.

Wrexham Heritage & Archives Service, aided by volunteers and partner organisations, is also responsible for Bersham Colliery Headgear, Bersham Ironworks Holt Castle, Minera Lead Mines and Penrhos Engine House.
