Ruta

I am a visual artist originally from Lithuania, based in Amsterdam. I grew up with clay, in a family making ceramics. I have been studying ceramics techniques for many years and exhibit my artworks in Lithuania and the Netherlands. I’ve studied at the Rietveld academie, Rijksakademie and attended artist residencies in countries, such as: Turkey, Japan, France, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, USA. My practise is based on making contemporary ceramics in a mixed media context.
