Welcome to a Chorlton Book Festival that's a little bit different. Chorlton Library is preparing for an exciting refurbishment, so we're going to be popping up all over Chorlton this year, bringing you a smaller but perfectly formed festival for 2023!

Chorlton Book Festival returns with another celebration of the joy of reading and storytelling in all their forms! We'll be popping up again all over Chorlton this September.

The gorgeous new Chorlton Library will reopen on 1st April! To celebrate, we are planning a range of events throughout April, here are some of the highlights below. Find the full programme at manclibraries.blog. We can't wait to welcome you back!

Lauren Crossley from Arup will present these two lectures, in which she’ll also talk about her research on the historical installations over the decades. Please choose from the afternoon session (1pm) or the evening session (5.30pm).
