Commonwealth Autism

Commonwealth Autism

Commonwealth Autism is working towards equitability for adolescents and adults with autism in Virginia.

We aim to innovate, operate, and model services that support community inclusion by building awareness and opening up new career and lifestyle opportunities for the people we serve. We do this through an innovative Career Readiness & Employment program that includes a paid internship in our natural foods grocery store, Good Foods Grocery in Richmond, Va.

In addition to our free career training program, we also offer paid personal Life Skills classes in a number of topics, like problem solving, time management, social engagement, and relationships and sexuality. We support these classes with fun social and educational events for the neurodivergent community, hosted at our All Abilities Inclusion and Innovation Center.

If you need information or direction following a recent diagnosis, or you're just looking for someone in your area that can help, we offer extensive information and resources on our website - if you can't find what you're looking for, contact us for direction on where to find the right autism resources for you! We are always happy to help.
