Epworth Old Rectory was the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley. The Old Rectory is as a place of learning and inspiration for all; an accredited museum dedicated to the influence of the Wesley family on faith, social justice, worldwide Methodism and all people today, whether they are of any religion or none. We host events either on our own or in partnership, in our house and garden, as well as at other venues in Epworth, for all the family celebrating the life and times of the Wesley Family and the wider history of the Isle of Axeholme, whether that’s performance, hands on history, tours, talks, or exhibitions.
