Smart Altitude is a European Interreg project that aims at developing and implementing new solutions and policies to improve the use of energy in Alpine ski resorts. The Smart Altitude’s approach integrates innovative solutions for energy monitoring, energy efficiency and energy sustainability to support decision-makers in Alpine ski resorts in the adoption of low-carbon measures.The &quot;Smart Altitude Webinar Series&quot; consists of 5 webinars that share best practices and tools for implementing low-carbon measures in Alpine ski areas.The first seminar presents the Smart Altitude Project and the six-steps approach for dealing with climate change in Alpine ski resorts. Adaptation and mitigation strategies will be discussed.The Smart Altitude Online toolkit will be presented as a main resource for guiding ski-resort operators and local policy-makers in developing low-carbon measures.
