In the heart of northwestern Sicily, surrounded by rolling hills adorned with olive trees and vineyards stands Tenute Baglio Passofondo. A precious glimpse of rural Sicilian where time seems to have stood still. Inside Tenute Baglio Passofondo stands a 5-star Luxury Rural Hotel in an old Baglio of the late nineteenth century. The skilful architectural restoration of the historic building has made it possible to obtain nine spacious suites equipped with all the comforts and the most advanced technologies to make your stay unforgettable.The estate is close to the road SS 119 Km7 where the hills surrounding Alcamo outline the landscape, the territory is marked by woven rows of vine. Long plots and a delightful olive grove on the hill serve as a backdrop to the vineyard below. The estate is about 9 hectares wide cultivated with Cabernet, Grillo and Zibibbo vines.“ Baglio Passofondo ” was built in 1852 by a noble Sicilian family who felt in love with this area favorable to cultivate the vineyards that give life to the fine Sicilian wines. The Baglio has recently been acquired by Proia family who renewed and restored the property in a rustic environment that still retains the distinctive features of the Arabic structure, caracterizing the western side of Sicily since the XII century.Today the “ Baglio ” is the flagship of the estate and it is proposed as an ideal place to give hospitality to people who wish to enjoy the peacefulness of life in countrysyde.For making the guests’ stay as comfortable as possible we recommend the support of a series of proposals that allow to eliminate the side effects of urban life, such as wellness treatments and rituals to get your physical body rebalanced.
