#PragmaConf17 Workshop — Swift Design Patterns

#pragma mark is the first community of iOS/macOS/watchOS/tvOS developers in Italy.#pragma mark is a not-for-profit, non-commercial, non-political association, operating in the feld of education and cultural diffusion of computer programming. The goal of the initiative is to share know-how, through a series of evening meetings, in depth workshops and an annual conference.

It is silly just to translate the GoF design patterns into every new language we learn - some don't apply or are inherent in the language. In this workshop we will look at functional, OO, and Protocol based design patterns that help us write better Swift.</SPAN></P>

<P CLASS="description"><SPAN>This workshop is for experienced developers who may be new to functional programming. Perhaps you've used map() and flatMap() but have never written your own. </SPAN></P>

<P CLASS="description"><SPAN>You will need a Mac with the latest public shipping version of Xcode 9 installed. We will be working in Swift 4.</SPAN></P>

<P CLASS="description"><SPAN>6 hours of training</SPAN>, lunch break, 2 coffee breaks, slides and other educational material provided by the teacher and a <SPAN>certificate of participation</SPAN>.</P>
