<h1>Who's this for?</h1><ul><li>Are you an experienced face to face facilitator that wants to work online even more effectively?</li><li>Perhaps you want to bring your online facilitation to the next level but maybe you’re not at ease with tools and technology? </li><li>Or maybe you want to spend focused time with an expert exploring the ecosystem of online facilitation tools and make informed decisions on what’s the right tool for your context?</li></ul>In this 6 hours class split across 3 non consecutive days will help you do that.<ul><li>Monday, <a href="https://everytimezone.com/s/f62c0e36" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">March 22nd 19.00 - 21.00 UTC</a></li><li>Thursday, <a href="https://everytimezone.com/s/0da508ed" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">March 25th at 19.00 - 21.00 UTC</a></li><li>Monday, <a href="https://everytimezone.com/s/0da508ed" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">March 29th at 19.00 - 21.00 UTC</a></li></ul>Those UTC times take priority over the Eventbrite's event times (which seems to get confused with local time zones and Daylight savings). Once registered you will get a Google Calendar invite with the above days and times!This is not an introductory class, it's for experienced facilitators that want a time to focus on the technical aspect.

<h1>What will we do?</h1>In this highly interactive class:<ol><li>We will do a deep technical dive into Zoom and you’ll leave with some new tricks. </li><li>We will experience Spatial Audio, a technology to break free of the one voice at the time constraint. </li><li>We will introduce and use digital whiteboards Miro and Mural, compare them and build something useful to you! </li><li>We will reflect on when to use a whiteboard vs an online document, mentimeter or other tools.</li><li>You will bring a design of an online activity with a tool you want to learn more about and share that with the group.</li></ol>

<h1>Learning outcomes</h1>After your active participation in this class you will be able to:<ol><li>Explain the 3 types of online facilitation interactive tools.</li><li>Assess the right tool(s) for the job and state their limits and tradeoffs.</li><li>Use Zoom, Spatial Chat. State their limits and tradeoffs and compare with other video call tools.</li><li>Use Mural, Miro, Online Documents (ala Google Docs and Slides), Mentimeter. State their limits and tradeoffs.</li><li>Design an online activity with a tool you wanted to dig deeper. State the tool’s limits and tradeoffs.</li></ol>

<h1>How is this structured?</h1>The class is structured with the 4Cs model (from Training from the Back of the Room). Each 2h module will:<ul><li>starts by connecting you with the topic</li><li>I will then deliver interactive content </li><li>you will then have time to practice and explore the concepts (in the class and then at your own pace with follow up activities)</li><li>finally we will draw conclusions on what we learned.</li></ul>The 3 modules:<ol><li>Dive in Video Call Systems</li><li>Dive in Digital Whiteboard</li><li>Dive in Tools for engagement and diversity</li></ol>
