DUNIA is a Woman, a Mother, but in certain archaic cultures, she is also a concept referring to Mother Earth; Nature as a Mother - encompassing everything and sustained by every single movement (even if apparently small and insignificant) and every single emotion, projecting her ultimate meaning onto a higher Universal level.

In this project, the sound of the OUD adapts to a more electric context, free from stylistic constraints. The result is an encounter between diverse sonorities: from jazz to fusion, Middle Eastern music, rock, and psychedelic music. A sound that seeks a constant dialogue between the Particular and the Universal, striving to harmonize different styles and clear, incisive melodies immersed in a sonic landscape that hints at a deeper second level, which only seemingly remains in the background.
