Disruptive Data Summer School is the Summer School in Data Science &amp; Machine Learning. It will take place from the 16th to the 27th of September at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia, Largo dell'Università, at the seat of the Degree Course in Industrial Engineering in Viterbo.The registration to Summer School is free and open to anyone who has programming bases and wants to improve their knowledge in the world of data analysis. Lessons will be in english and the admission is open to students from all over the world; attending a degree course is not an admission prerequisite. Places are limited and will be only 20 . The selection process includes the presentation of the curriculum plus the passing of an online test to certify the skills.The first 40 candidates will then enter the interview which will establish the ranking list of the 20 participants.To present the application it will be important to have basic programming skills. The deadline for the application is July, 29th.The first week there will be theoretical lessons and practical exercises on:<ul><li>Principles of Machine Learning</li><li>Data management and data cleaning</li><li>Time series analysis</li><li>Data visualization</li></ul>In the second week students will work on Data Science projects on the following topics:<ul><li>Cyber security</li><li>Attribution modeling &amp; advertising optimization</li></ul>During the Summer School participants will be in contact with relevant companies in the field such as the companies of the Datrix Group: ByTek, 3rdPlace and FinScience.
