A 2 hour webinar to learn the basics of data visualization with the creators of RAWGraphs.

<p>RAW Graphs (<a href="https://rawgraphs.io/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://rawgraphs.io/</a>) is a free and open source data visualization tool built to make the visual representation of complex data easy for everyone.</p><p>Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign and the support of many people and organizations, we recently launched a brand new version of the tool full of new features and a wide range of visual models to explore and visualize your data. </p><p>The webinar is recommended for those who already have a basic knowledge of working with data and want to better understand how to use RAWGraphs and how to include it in their workflow.</p><p>The webinar will be held in English and it&#x27;s aimed at people who work in graphic design, communication, journalism, researchers, policy-makers, and anyone who needs to improve their data visualization literacy through intensive hands-on training. </p>

<h3>What will you learn?</h3><p>During the webinar you will learn:</p><ul><li> How to insert your data in RAWGraphs and some tips on how to prepare your data</li><li>How to dynamically load and update your data from Google Spreadsheet</li><li>How to create a visualization and how to use it to make sense of your data</li><li>How to refine the visualization in RAWGraphs and export it</li><li>How to export projects </li><li>Some information about the project and the next steps for the RAWGraphs team</li></ul><p>You will also receive the slides of the webinar, project, and data sample to practice and all the didactical material used during the webinar. </p><p> </p><h3>Why should you participate?</h3><p>First of all, because is a great way to improve your skills and learn a free software that is used by thousands of users worldwide.</p><p>Second of all, because you will directly support a free and open-source tool. The more financial support we receive from sponsors and users, the more time we will be able to dedicate to the project. </p><p> </p><h3>What if you can't make it? Are there other webinars and courses planned?</h3><p>This is the first of a series of didactical activities that we want to carry out to teach RAWGraphs and raise funds to maintain the project. We will soon organize other events both online and in Milan.
