SUQSU is a food & design concept based in Milan, offering curated Mediterranean dining experiences and cultural events.We create contemporary food experiences inspired by Mediterranean and North African traditions, with couscous as our signature dish, reimagined in a modern way. Our activities include dinners, special events, DJ sets, and ritual moments, designed to bring people together around food, music, and atmosphere.SUQSU also features a selection of design objects and lifestyle pieces from international artists and designers, turning the space into a contemporary suq where culture, taste, and aesthetics meet.

Cous Cous è un evento immersivo che intreccia cinema, cibo e convivialità attraverso uno sguardo dedicato al cinema nordafricano. Nato dalla collaborazione tra Darna, SUQSU e Gusto Visivo, l’evento trasforma lo spazio di SUQSU in un luogo d’incontro dove immagini, sapori e racconti dialogano tra loro.La serata si apre con una breve introduzione curatoriale a cura di Darna Cinema, pensata per contestualizzare il film e approfondire il legame tra cibo, memoria e immaginario nel cinema nordafricano. A seguire, la proiezione del film viene accompagnata da una degustazione tematica ideata da SUQSU, costruita in dialogo con l’universo gastronomico e simbolico dell’opera cinematografica. Visione e degustazione si svolgono contemporaneamente, creando un’esperienza sensoriale condivisa in cui il cibo diventa parte integrante della narrazione.L’evento si conclude con una conversazione finale insieme a Gusto Visivo, dedicata al ruolo del cibo nel cinema come elemento di identità, racconto e pratica collettiva.L’esperienza ospiterà fino a 25 partecipanti su prenotazione presso SUQSU, in Via Ascanio Sforza 55 a Milano.
