Fondazione Sozzaniè un’istituzione culturale costituita a Milano da Carla Sozzani nel 2016 per la promozione della fotografia, della cultura, della moda e delle arti. La Fondazione ha assunto il patronato della Galleria Carla Sozzani e prosegue il percorso dell’importante funzione pubblica che la galleria svolge dal 1990. Dal 2021 Sara Sozzani Maino cura e coordina i progetti dedicati all’educazione, responsabilità e ai creativi di nuova generazione.Fondazione Sozzaniwas established in 2016 by Carla Sozzani and is dedicated to the promotion of culture through photography, fashion, the fine arts, and applied arts. The Foundation has assumed the patronage of Galleria Carla Sozzani and continues all relevant public functions that the Gallery has supported since 1990. FONDAZIONE SOZZANI, CAVIA E REVESTO PRESENTANO UN WORKSHOP DI UPCYCLING E MAGLIERIA CREATIVA.

Fondazione Sozzani, Cavia e Revesto collaborano e danno vita a Thread, un luogo dove la sartoria è protagonista. Sabato 31 gennaio e domenica 1 febbraio è possibile partecipare ai laboratori di upcycling creativo tenuti da Martina Boero, fondatrice di Cavia. Portando un paio di maglioni o sciarpe si può sperimentare con la maglieria e trasformare vecchi capi in pezzi unici. L’esperienza permette di riscoprire il valore di ciò che già si possiede ed è supportata dalla piattaforma innovativa di Revesto, che connette designer indipendenti e consumo sostenibile. Durante l’evento è disponibile per la vendita una selezione di capi d’archivio di Cavia e si può esplorare il mondo di Revesto con Stefania Sgherza e Serena Iacobellis, co-fondatrici dell'app-marketplace dedicata alla moda artigianale e alla personalizzazione. Le due giornate si concludono con un cocktail dedicato all’incontro e alla condivisione tra i partecipanti.workshop primo gruppo: sabato 31 gennaio secondo gruppo: domenica 1 febbraio dalle 14:30 alle 18:30in mostra sabato 31 gennaio e domenica 1 febbraio dalle 11 alle 19:30Fondazione Sozzani, Cavia, and Revesto collaborate to create Thread, a space where craftsmanship and tailoring take center stage. On Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, people are invited to reative upcycling workshops led by Martina Boero, founder of Cavia. By bringing two sweaters or scarves, participants can experiment with knitwear and transform their garments into unique pieces. This experience is supported by the innovative platform of Revesto, that connects independent designers with sustainable consumption, allowing guests to rediscover the value of the items they already own. During the event, a selection of Cavia archive pieces is also available for purchase. Guests are also invited to explore the world of Revesto with co-founders Stefania Sgherza and Serena Iacobellis, who can explain how works the app-based marketplace dedicated to artisanal and customizable fashion.
