La Fondazione Cortile dei Gentili è stata istituita dal Card. Gianfranco Ravasi, per promuovere il dialogo tra credenti e non credenti sui grandi temi e le sfide che interessano la società contemporanea. Da più di 10 anni la Fondazione, che è presieduta dal Prof. Giuliano Amato e lavora in stretta connessione con il Dicastero vaticano per la Cultura e l'Educazione, organizza e promuove incontri, dibattiti, progetti e ricerche per stimolare un dialogo concreto e costruttivo tra il mondo laico e quello cattolico. Con questo obiettivo, ogni anno affronta e approfondisce tematiche di attualità che riguardano la spiritualità, l'etica, la scienza, l'economia, la cultura, lo sport, la legalità, l'intelligenza artificiale e molto altro.
