About the Speakers:Dr. Elham Fathiazar received her Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany in 2017. Since 2018, she joined to Humatects GmbH as a modelling and software engineer, where she is working on the development of probabilistic driver models and their utilization in a variety of use cases including driver intention recognition, traffic prediction and autonomous control. Julius Klein, Ph.D is originally from Catalonia (Spain). He graduated in Industrial Engineering from Universitat de Girona (Spain) in 2003. 5 years later he obtained a Ph.D. from the University of California Irvine. His research topic was robotics for neurorehabilitation. After UC Irvine, he’s furthered his career as a researcher internationally at Imperial College London (UK), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and Tecnalia Research and Innovation (Basque Country, Spain).
 Since May 2018 he’s happily employed at Motivo Engineering (Southern California) working as the Manager of the Mechanical Engineering Department.Andrea Castellano is Human Factors researcher at RE:Lab. His main research interests are in the interaction between humans and automated systems, especially in automotive and railway domains.
