Via del Carmine, 6Padova, Veneto
Saturday, Feb 7 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm CET
Overview

In this talk at "La forma del Libro" we will discuss what it means to “program in an accessible way.”

with Francesco Stefanizzi from Al.Di.Qua Artists

running time 1H 30’

in Italian

In this talk we will discuss what it means to “program in an accessible way.”

More specifically, the session will be structured as follows: an introduction and presentation of the association Al.Di.Qua; an examination of the difference between social theatre and professional theatre; and a personal testimony from Diego about his training and professional experience as an artist.

We will then explore the topic of “accessible cultural programming” from three perspectives: the artist’s point of view (lack of spaces, inaccessibility of hosting venues); the organizer’s point of view (economic sustainability, inclusive programming, conscious curation of cultural offerings, attention to audience needs); the audience’s point of view (expanded accessibility and identification of practical tools and exemplary best practices).
