Faced with the current economic and ecological challenges, how can we rethink the nature of our relationships with others and with the resources of the world around us from the perspective of collective practices observed in the world’s arid zones and mountain regions? In these fragile contexts, where the scarcity of natural resources calls for strong bonds of solidarity, forms of collective intelligence and sustainable resource management have always been practiced.
