What is Respiria?

Respiria is the nature and wellbeing project of Poliedricamente Edizioni ETS, a Trentino cultural association. We promote wellbeing through forest bathing, digital detox and conscious reconnection with nature. Sessions are led by CSEN-certified Forest Bathing Instructors.

Is this a sporting activity?

Accepted Answer

No. Forest bathing is neither a sport nor a hike. It is a cultural and personal wellbeing experience centred on conscious reconnection with nature. There is no running, no distance to cover, no summit to reach. We walk slowly, stop often, and listen.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable, layered clothing suitable for a summer mountain environment. Closed walking shoes with a non-slip sole are essential — no flip-flops, no sandals, no lightweight trainers. The terrain at Bedolpian is mixed: unpaved paths, grass, exposed roots. The right footwear makes a real difference.

Do I need any experience with meditation or yoga?

Accepted Answer

None at all. Forest bathing requires no prior practice. If you can walk slowly and sit in silence for a few minutes, you're ready.

How physically demanding is it?

The route is flat and accessible to all. This is not a hike — we walk slowly, with frequent pauses.

What is the Nemeton of Bedolpian?

It is the evocative name we give this place to acknowledge the deeper memory of the land. The Raeti and Celts — Trentino's pre-Roman peoples — held exactly these kinds of places as sacred: woodland, clearings, still water. Bedolpian carries that quality. We name it to walk through it more consciousl

Is it suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

This experience is designed for adults. It involves sustained attention and extended periods of silence. But still, many children love this kind of experiences, so they are very welcomed!

What if the weather is bad?

Accepted Answer

If conditions are unsuitable, the event will be postponed. Registered participants will be notified via Eventbrite at least 24 hours in advance.

Question 9

Can I eat somewhere nearby afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Baita del Mett is open on Sundays from 9:00 to 17:00, right at the meeting point.
