Presentazione di ‘Baustraße: A Specimen Book in Three Acts’ volume curato da <a href="https://www.fantasia-type.com/" title="https://www.fantasia-type.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fantasia Type</a> e pubblicato da <a href="https://www.instagram.com/press_press_milano/" title="https://www.instagram.com/press_press_milano/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Press Press Milano</a>. Il libro è dedicato al typeface Baustraße e esplora come il Bauhaus si sia intrecciato alla cultura popolare del ventesimo secolo. Fantasia Type, in conversazione con lo storico dell’architettura Roberto Dulio, riflette su come le idee della scuola tedesca furono democratizzate attraverso la diffusione di stereotipi, malintesi e appropriazioni.– Fantasia Type è uno studio di ricerca e design focalizzato sulla tipografia e sul type design. Fondato da Franziska Weitgruber e Michele Galluzzo nel 2020, con sedi a Laces (Bolzano) e Milano, combina la progettazione tipografica e la ricerca storica intorno alle lettere, intese come oggetti culturali. Il duo sviluppa typeface retail e font su misura, oltre a identità visive, installazioni tipografiche, workshop e pubblicazioni.– Roberto Dulio è Professore Associato di Storia dell’Architettura presso il Politecnico di Milano (DABC). La sua ricerca si concentra sull’architettura moderna e contemporanea e sulle sue intersezioni con l’arte e la fotografia. Ha curato mostre, pubblicato libri e saggi, e collaborato con riviste come L’architettura. Cronache e storia, Casabella, Domus e Il Sole 24 Ore.
