In the heart of Tuscia, among the silent archaeological wonders, majestic medieval churches, and palaces that tell centuries of history, the Tuscania Summer Festival comes to life: two weeks where music, art, and flavor intertwine in a unique experience. From August 17 to 31, 2025, Tuscania becomes a cultural stage of excellence for the entire area stretching from Lake Bolsena to Tarquinia. A festival that is not only about music, but an invitation to rediscover the authentic beauty of an extraordinary town - bringing together local cultural communities in a creative dialogue between the Arts. On the program: international music courses with world-renowned teachers, 25 events featuring classical, chamber, vocal and symphonic, multisensory concerts with tastings of the region’s finest food and wine, a prestigious exhibition of lutherie with historic instruments and artisans from across Europe, along with public talks and conferences. An event that celebrates culture as a living, shared experience, placing Tuscania at the heart of a new map of art and beauty.

Nel cuore della Tuscia, tra le meraviglie archeologiche, le maestose chiese medievali e i palazzi che raccontano secoli di storia, nasce il Tuscania Summer Festival. Due settimane in cui musica, arte e gusto si intrecciano in un’esperienza indimenticabile

Una mattinata dedicata alla bellezza del suono degli archi, in uno dei luoghi più suggestivi di Tuscania: il cinquecentesco Palazzo Fani accoglie il concerto finale dei Corsi Internazionali di Perfezionamento per Violino, Viola e Violoncello. In scena, giovani musicisti provenienti da tutto il mondo daranno prova del lavoro svolto durante un’intensa settimana di studio, guidati da tre figure di riferimento del panorama musicale italiano: Gabriele Pieranunzi, primo violino solista del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, interprete di rara finezza e carisma; Francesco Solombrino, violista e violinista, fondatore del Quartetto d’Archi Savinio, artista dalla visione profonda e appassionata; e Danilo Squitieri, violoncellista dalla brillante carriera solistica e cameristica, protagonista in importanti rassegne e progetti formativi. Il concerto propone un grande repertorio solistico per strumenti ad arco, attraversando epoche e stili con espressività, virtuosismo e freschezza. Un’occasione per ascoltare il futuro della musica classica in un contesto carico di storia e bellezza, dove ogni nota risuona tra pietre antiche e luce filtrata dagli affreschi. —A morning devoted to the beauty and resonance of string music awaits in the stunning Palazzo Fani, a 16th-century architectural gem nestled in the heart of Tuscania. Here, the final concert of the International Masterclasses for Violin, Viola, and Cello brings together music, talent, and heritage in a truly evocative setting. On stage, young musicians from around the world will perform the fruits of an intense week of study and inspiration under the guidance of three distinguished artists. Gabriele Pieranunzi, concertmaster of Teatro San Carlo in Naples, is known for his elegant, expressive playing and international acclaim as a soloist. Francesco Solombrino, violist and violinist, co-founder of the Quartetto d’Archi Savinio, brings depth, experience, and a deeply musical perspective. Danilo Squitieri, a celebrated cellist, has made his mark as a solo and chamber performer, as well as an inspiring teacher and artistic collaborator. The program features a rich solo repertoire for strings, offering a vibrant journey through styles and centuries. This matinée is not only a celebration of music—it is a celebration of potential, artistry, and the enduring power of sound in one of Tuscania’s most atmospheric spaces.
