The service undertakes all health checks in the child’s Personal Health Record (Blue Book) providing infant assessment of growth & development and parenting support in home visits, clinics and on virtual platforms. Facilitated groups: Starting family foods, Parent /carer's network groups , breastfeeding support.Child and Family community-based services provided throughout the ISLHD include: Child and Family Health Nursing , Allied Health and Diagnostic Assessment specialties, in addition to Aboriginal, maternal infant and child services and family care centres, child protection and wellbeing, and a variety of groups across the services.
