This historical jailhouse museum was built in 1888 and the active Wilson County Jailhouse until 1974. There were many executions, self-inflicted and natural deaths that occurred inside the jail and on the grounds throughout the early years of the County.

This historic 1880's jailhouse museum is full of history and excitement. When you visit our museum, expect to be immersed into the experience of what life was like for the residents of this jailhouse, whether it was the Sherriff's and their families, or those who were incarcerated. Our museum has regular hours of the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month 10-3pm, as well as special hours during events in the downtown Floresville square, and the paranormal investigations that we host once a month. Come visit our beautiful museum and help us keep our Wilson County history alive!
