Die koptisch-orthodoxe Kirche Zürich ist eine lebendige Gemeinschaft koptischer Christen, die dem alten Glauben der ägyptischen christlichen Kirche folgen. Die Kirche in Zürich hat zwei Pfarreien: St. Markus und St. Mauritius in Dietlikon sowie St. Maria und St. Verena in Grafstal. Die Kirche bietet ihren Mitgliedern und Besuchern regelmässige Gottesdienste, Liturgien, Sonntagsschule, Jugendaktivitäten und kulturelle Veranstaltungen an.
Die Kirche heisst jeden willkommen, der mehr über den christlichen Glauben erfahren oder die Schönheit und Spiritualität der koptischen Liturgie und Hymnen erleben möchte.
Die Wurzeln der koptisch-orthodoxen Kirche von Alexandria reichen bis zum Heiligen Apostel Markus zurück, der im ersten Jahrhundert n. Chr. das Evangelium in Ägypten predigte.
Die Kirche steht unter der pastoralen Obhut Seiner Heiligkeit Papst Tawadros II., dem 118. Papst von Alexandria und Patriarch des Markusdoms.
Das Ziel unserer Kirche ist es, den Menschen die Erlösung durch Jesus Christus zu verkünden, das reiche Erbe der koptisch-orthodoxen Kirche zu bewahren und zu teilen und die Einheit und Liebe unter allen Christen zu fördern.

The Coptic Orthodox Church of Zurich is a vibrant community of Coptic Christians who follow the ancient beliefs of the Egyptian Christian Church. The church in Zurich has two parishes: St. Markus and St. Mauritius in Dietlikon & St. Maria and St. Verena in Grafstal. The church offers its members and visitors regular services, liturgies, Sunday school, youth activities, and cultural events.
The church welcomes anyone who wants to learn more about the Christian faith or experience the beauty and spirituality of the Coptic liturgy and hymns.
The roots of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria go back to the apostle St. Mark, who preached the gospel in Egypt in the first century AD.
The church is under the pastoral care of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, the 118th Pope and Patriarch of the See of Alexandria.
Our church's purpose is to preach Christ's salvation to humanity, preserve and share the rich heritage of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and promote unity and love among all Christians. The Church invites you to accompany them on their journey of faith and community.
