There have been various spiritual experiences in my life that I have experienced since childhood, but my first sound experience was many years ago while playing the African drum, when I felt what Kundalini yoga practitioners call a ''stream of energy'' that moved up my spine. This stream of energy turned into a sort of supernova explosion in my head, giving me a sense of euphoria, relaxation, and love. However, my deep vocation to sound healing came during one of the gong bath sessions that I attended. Since then, I embarked on a journey of learning and participating in workshops with gongs and Himalayan singing bowls. 2021 was a real spiritual rollercoaster for me. I started studying under Sheila Whittaker at the College of Sound Healing and volunteered at Kat Bumbul's amazing Psychedelic Gong Bath sessions at the Round Chapel in Hackney. I also created ''well-being Wednesdays'' at my workplace, a safe space, where I run sound workshops for my work colleagues to help them relax, rejuvenate and heal. In January 2022 I had my first individual gong bath session in Leyton (where I live). As well as gong baths or sound baths, I would describe my sessions more like shamanic ceremonies with gongs and singing bowls, and other sacred instruments. Since I graduated from COSH as a Gong Healing Practitioner, I have kept uplifting my skills and gifts by taking trainings and workshops related to sound and vibration, shamanism, and energy healing. Currently, I am immersing myself in the study of Nepali shamanism under the guidance of Bhola Banstola, a 27th-generation Nepali Jhankri Shaman, and delving into traditional shamanism with Sandra Ingerman. Additionally, I am deeply fascinated by Siberian shamanism and actively exploring its practices and philosophies. In my daily life, I work at one of the biggest UK's charities. My team helps people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and trauma.
