Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA)
The Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program, administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, is hosting information sessions across Texas for families interested in learning more about this new program for the 2026-2027 school year. As a state-wide school choice initiative, TEFA funds can be used for private school tuition, homeschooling, tutoring, therapy, technology, and other education-related expenses. These events are designed to help families learn more about the program and apply. TEFA applications open February 4th and close March 17th.
