Edgbaston Neighbourhood Network Scheme
The Neighbourhood Network Scheme is a community project dedicated to combatting loneliness and isolation among adults 50+ and those adults aged 18 – 49 with additional needs, within the Edgbaston constituency. The Edgbaston Neighbourhood Network Scheme (ENNS for short) works with community assets to ensure that citizens have activities on their doorstep which help them connect to their communities and lead independent, happy and healthy lives. We also work closely with local Social Work teams to help them access local services and activities for the people they support. We also offer free training for community groups and free networking events for both citizens and professionals on key priority themes that our work focuses on.
Eligibility Notice: Our events and training are intended for citizens, community groups, and organisations based in or working with citizens in the Edgbaston constituency (Bartley Green, Harborne, Edgbaston, North Edgbaston and Quinton wards). Attendees from elsewhere in Birmingham may be considered on an individual basis, subject to the availability of spaces. Bookings from those outside Birmingham will not be considered unless the individual or organisation is directly delivering activities or services in Edgbaston or can clearly demonstrate benefits to Edgbaston residents. If you have any questions, please contact us at nnsedgbaston@ageukbirmingham.org.uk.
