Monica Ruvalcaba | Mama Didn't Know LLC
Mama Didn’t Know LLC was founded by Monica, a Chicana mother, memoirist, suicide prevention coach, speaker, and creative visionary dedicated to breaking generational cycles and creating spaces for healing, empowerment, and self-discovery.
Rooted in lived experience, Mama Didn’t Know LLC exists to remind women—especially mothers and those from historically silenced communities—that their stories matter, their healing is sacred, and their transformation has ripple effects far beyond themselves. Monica’s work centers on generational trauma, emotional resilience, self-awareness, and reclaiming identity through intentional living.
Through community events, workshops, speaking engagements, creative projects, and storytelling, Monica creates spaces where women can be seen, heard, and supported—without shame or judgment. Her approach blends vulnerability, spirituality, and practical tools for growth, making healing accessible, honest, and empowering.
Monica is also the author of the memoir Mama Didn’t Know… Herself, which explores inherited silence, survival-based motherhood, and the courageous journey of becoming intentional in one’s healing. As a suicide prevention coach and instructor, she is deeply committed to mental health advocacy and encouraging individuals—especially youth and women—to keep choosing life, even during their hardest seasons.
At the heart of everything Mama Didn’t Know LLC produces is community. These events are not just gatherings—they are invitations to reconnect with self, honor lived experiences, and step into a future rooted in truth, softness, and strength.
✨ This is more than an organizer—it’s a movement toward intentional healing, empowered storytelling, and collective transformation.
