Description

Experience Lab (XLab) is an unconventional training in design, management and innovative promotion of the experiential travel offer. We teach to local operators how to convert local traditions, passions and enterprises in experiences to be offered to the visitor, from food and wine to culture, from sport to handicraft, from industrial areas to ancient professions. Experts and motivators organize unconventional and practical workshops to share with locals the skills needed to enchant and surprise by simply re-inventing what destinations already have.

The Experience Lab | WellOlive | Barcelona edition will be focused on the olive oil culture and traditions. It will be hosted by Directorate General of Tourism of the Government of Catalonia and the contents will be presented by Destination Makers with the collaboration of University of Eastern Finland and local best practices about oleotourism.
It is organised within the WellOlive project, managed by a consortium of partners from all over Europe (Municipality of Brindisi, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Lyon, Directorate General of Tourism of the Government of Catalonia, Development Regional Agency DUNEA, University of Eastern Finland, Routes of the Olive Tree Cultural Foundation and New Travel Agency and Destination Makers), and funded by the EU COSME program.
