The enticing voices of the three tenors Vincenzo Tremante, Alessandro Fortunato and Francesco Fortes, accompanied by a string quartet and piano, offer the audience a spectacular journey through the masterpieces of the Italian opera and the Neapolitan songs.

The concert opens with the performance of the most famous Italian opera arias from Tosca, l’Elisir d’amore, Rigoletto and Turandot followed in the second part by beautiful Neapolitan songs like “’O sole mio” and “Torna a Surriento”. The first part the three tenors will bring on stage the eternal emotion of the greatest opera ever, while the second part involves the spectators with the enthusiasm and vigour of the land of Naples. A varied, dynamic and exciting concert on a single date in Liverpool!

As a frame to the event a wonderful location , the beautiful concert hall of St. George's Hall, completely decorated in the neoclassical style and completely designed by the architect Charles Robert Cockerell.

ST. GEORGER’S HALL – CONCERT ROOM

St. George's Hall is a building in Neoclassical style which contains concert halls and law courts, and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

The circular Concert Room, built with truly staggering artistry by its architect Charles Robert Cockerel, is breathtakingly beautiful. It is decorated in soft tones of cream and gold.

You can admire an opulent crystal chandelier, walls lined with Goddess-like statues, angelic cherubs and Ravenhead glass mirrors that create stunning reflections around the featured stage.

Charles Dickens gave many readings on the stage and declared it to be ‘the most perfect room in the world.’ Originally designed to accommodate an orchestra, it has excellent acoustics.

– By Train: Liverpool Lime Street station is situated opposite St. George’s Hall, whilst Liverpool Central is just a seven-minute stroll away. The nearest train stations to St. George’s Hall are: Liverpool Lime Street Station is 286 metres away, 4 min walk; Central Station, 678 metres away, 8 min walk. You can plan your journey here with Trainline or Merseyrail.

– Nearest Parking: St John’s Shopping Centre, St George’s Pl, Liverpool L1 1LY; Lime Street Station Long Stay, Lord Nelson Street, L3 5QB; Limited Blue Badge is available parking on William Brown Street, L3 8EL.
