About this event
For the celebration of Italy’s Republic Day (2 June) The Embassy of Italy, the Consulate General of Italy in Johannesburg and the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria organise an exclusive concerts of the Rome Opera Ensemble: 1st of June in Johannesburg.
The ensemble has performed in many prestigious concerts’ hall and theatres all over the world, achieving critical and public success. The formation of woodwind quintet, piano and singers is able to obtain a wide and rich sound range, and a variety of musical timbers. This is the reason why the concert program will be a musical journey: spanning from the classical Mozart to the Italian opera of Verdi and Puccini, to Ennio Morricone’s famous movies soundtracks, and the renowned songs of Neapolitan tradition.
Every attendee must have a valid vaccination certificate or a negative test result issued by any national health institution that is performed within 72 hours from the date of the event.
