The Liberation of Rome Conference in Anzio on 31 May-1 June will investigate the events leading to the end of the occupation of Italy's capital on 4 June 1944 and its consequences.

Speakers from Italy and the world will examine the contemporary resonance of this pivotal moment in Italy's history and turning points in 1943 and 1944 including the landings in Salerno, the battle for San Pietro Infine, the Anzio landing, the four battles of Cassino, the fracturing of the Gustav and Hitler lines and the pursuit north of Rome to the Gothic Line

Organised by Assoknowledge, the Rome-based association for Italy's knowledge and technology industries, The Liberation of Rome Conference will be the definitive conference for all those wanting to find out more about events that transformed Italy and the world.
