About this Event

Stand by Me. Shaping paths towards citizenship for young care leavers.

23rd of October 2020 - 09.00 -13.00

Web-in-air on Zoom

Stand By Me is a European project aimed at supporting boys and girls ageing out from alternative care systems in Milan (Italy), Nicosia (Cyprus), Brasov (Romania) and Gothenburg (Sweden). A transnational working team has carried out participatory research activities, training courses for professional and capacity-building workshops in each context, developing knowledge and skills on the process of care-leaving for young people.

This Open Symposium is a public opportunity to share the results of a two years project and to relaunch a local and transnational alliance on the basis of a set of guidelines designed by an enlarged working group that involved over 200 people among policy-makers, professionals and young care-leavers in four different European countries.
