Special showing of docufilm “Skellig Michael: "the Monks Island”

A wild island, a timeless place, a story that speaks to the heart.

‘Skellig: the island of monks, ancient spirituality for people of today’ an international docufilm, made in both Italian and English, which explores the past to inspire the present.

On 13 March, this new docufilm produced by Horion Studios will be presented, in the presence of the director, Irishman Christy Riordan, originally from Kerry, the county that is home to this island. He brings to the screen the sensitivity of those who live and breathe the essence of these places on a daily basis. Only those who grew up among the wild coasts and boundless skies of Kerry can capture the intimacy of a landscape that speaks of history, spirituality and unspoilt nature.

A toast with the production will be held after the screening.
