SOSPESI: Italia Verticale
Overview
After more than ten years of research on the Italian human and cultural landscape observed from “above,” Jacopo Di Cera presents “Sospesi: Italia verticale”, an immersive exhibition combining photography and digital video loops.
Through beaches, squares, suburbs, and moments of daily ritual, the artist has created a true visual atlas of contemporary Italy. Verticality becomes a conceptual gesture: lifting the gaze to perceive what often escapes up close, suspending time, and offering new interpretations of the present.
With over 25 works on display, the photographs capture the moment and the spontaneous geometry of the places, while the videos expand perception, turning viewing into an experience. From popular festivals, beaches, and sporting events to community rituals, the exhibition portrays an Italy suspended between the concreteness of its places and the symbolic breath of its inhabitants.
✨ A unique opportunity to explore a new vision of Italian identity and experience contemporary art in an immersive way.
