Join us for a weekend escape from Budapest to Semmering (Austria), where skiing, spa time, and mountain air come together for the perfect winter break. A short train ride takes you straight into the heart of Austria’s snowy peaks — a peaceful world of white, warmth, and freedom.

Our home for the weekend will be Sporthotel am Semmering, surrounded by snow and mountain views. It’s a cozy place to rest, enjoy good food, and warm up after a day outside. You can relax in the spa, take a swim, or just sit with a cup of tea and watch the snow fall. Everything you need for a peaceful winter break is right here.

Friday starts easy

We leave Budapest in the afternoon, arriving just in time for a relaxing spa session and a warm welcome dinner together. We end the day refreshed and ready for the adventures ahead.

Saturday is all about freedom.

After breakfast, we take the lift up to the snow park. From here, you can choose your adventure — skiing, snow hiking, or sliding down the toboggan track. You move at your own pace, enjoying the mountain air and the white all around.

When you’re ready for a break, you can stop in a cozy chalet for lunch or something warm to drink. Then it’s back to the snow for another round — or simply to enjoy the view.

Later, we return to the hotel for the spa, a relaxing swim, and dinner together.

Sunday Exploration

After breakfast, we take a panoramic walk through Semmering’s old village — a UNESCO heritage site that still holds the charm of traditional Austrian life. Surrounded by mountain views and wooden chalets, it’s the perfect way to close the weekend before our train ride back to Budapest.

€490 per person or book for 245€ and pay the rest later
