Sketchbook Walk in Rome

1) You'll join a friendly group of art lovers (max 6), and we'll handcraft our sketchbooks at a beautiful rooftop studio called Inky Larks.

2) We'll sketch and stroll around the gorgeous neighbourhood.

There's the most important theatre of Ancient Rome, the Theatre of Marcellus. There's the staircase designed by Michelangelo leading up to the Capitoline Hill (with its breathtaking views of the Forum!), and Piazza Mattei with its bustling cafè and Renaissance Turtle Fountain... There is so much to enjoy and explore here!

Along the way, I'll be sharing simple drawing exercises that build up your observational drawing skills, while encouraging a sense of play and curiosity.

You'll take home a handmade record of your stay in Rome filled with happy memories, personal sketches and helpful tips - an inspiring "toolbox" that will help you keep your sketchbook practice going long after your holiday is finished.

Suitable for beginners.

(NB. please note that Inky Larks Studio is on the 4th floor and there is no lift.)
