About this event
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience with robotics, at this free workshop you will have fun learning some basic programming concepts. Understand ultrasonic and infrared sensors, motors and gyroscopes on a range of different devices. Pick a robot and we will show you how to program it to detect an obstacle, follow a line or have it do some cool dance moves. From the mini-sphero, to Lego's EV3 and Ubtech’s Buzzbot, there’s a ton of fun to be had!

11:30 - 12:50 - Robotics workshop - Try your hand at programming a range of robots
12:50 - 13:00 - Certificate of Attendance and Wrap up
iPads: we will have a limited number of iPads available for use so if you have your own, feel free to bring it with you. We will be using the following apps: Spero Edu, Swift Playgrounds, Jimu and EV3 Classrooms.
