About this Event

Re-think Circular Economy Forum is the second edition of an international event that brings together the most relevant actors operating at different levels in the implementation of the Circular Economy. Companies, startups, research institutes, and other organizations will illustrate practical paths that can lead to the creation of innovative and entrepreneurial projects related to the Circular Economy.

The event will be accessible online for everyone. Only the speakers and the main stakeholders will be at the event venue (the 27th of October at the Catholic University of Milan, and the 28th of October at the Triennale of Milan).

The focus will be on 4 main topics:

  • Agri-food: agriculture 4.0, new types of cultivation such as Indoor and Vertical farming, and new methods of food preservation and transportation;
  • Cities: urban context organized in a circular way, presenting actual projects, but also possible future trends with a focus on smart cities, mobility, biocycle & waste, urban, water, and air;
  • Materials: biomaterials that are increasingly replacing synthetic ones, emerging practices in the reuse and regeneration of materials (organic and synthetic) and future trends in material science;
  • Technologies: emerging technologies that overturn the concept of waste and optimize the use of resources with a focus on AI, IoT, blockchain, clean energy, storage, and digital application for the Circular Economy.

Every topic will have a specific session. In each session, there will be:
