This is the Taiwan KOM Challenge and we have placed it in our cycling wishlist for the 2020 rides.
Starting in 2012, KOM, the Taiwan King of Mountain Challenge had become one of the prestigious and greatest epic climbs events in the world. The route of total length 105km, starting from sea level, the Hualien Qixingtan, passing though the spectacular Taroko gorge, then ending up at the highest road apex atop route 14A to Wuling Pass at 3275m, had become one of the most difficult climb challenge.
The Taiwan KOM Challenge is definitely an once in a life time cycling event for all riders, because it is so unique and you will not miss this opportunity to challenge yourself.
