Overnight tour of Fiesole, Monte Ceceri and the Cave of Maiano

A ring of amazing natural beauty around the historic sites of Monte Ceceri, the Quarries of Maiano and Fiesole for an unmissable summer event.

We will walk through the historic quarry streets to the mythical Vipsul, the Fiesole from the Etruscan walls.

We will admire the sunset from the Convent of St. Francis and stop in Piazza Mino da Fiesole for an aperitif, then turning on our headlamps, we will have an incredible sensory experience through the woods and vistas of Monte Ceceri, evoking Leonardo da Vinci's Flight of the Kite.

- The Quarries of Maiano

- The Etruscan Walls of Fiesole

- The sunset panorama from Monte Ceceri over Florence

- The aperitif in the center of Fiesole

- The sounds of the forest at night

The tour takes place on Saturday, July 23.

- Difficulty: easy hiking

- Elevation gain: 350 meters positive

- Trail type: Ring, historical and scenic interests

- Meeting point: Via Cave di Maiano, Maiano, FI, Italy

- Tour will be given upon reaching a minimum of four individual participants or private group

- What to bring: packed lunch, water 1 liter each, waterproof hiking or trail shoes mandatory, long pants, layered clothing (micro fleece, windproof, shell or k-way) backpack, flashlight and battery charger
